Lana is a recent graduate of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Global Studies, completed across universities in Austria, Aotearoa/New Zealand, and Belgium. Her research focuses on development cooperation, peace and conflict dynamics, and gender, with a regional emphasis on Latin America. Her master’s thesis analysed the EU’s gender policy towards (post)conflict Colombia amid patriarchal backlash. She is committed to independent research that supports just and sustainable policy-making.
