Tim Bender graduated from RWTH Aachen University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, where he developed engineering models for satellite shielding concepts against micrometeoroid and orbital debris impacts. His main interest lies in improving the safety and resilience of spacecraft against micrometeoroids and space debris in increasingly congested orbital environments. In addition, he has experience in Python programming and the application of artificial intelligence methods to engineering and manufacturing challenges.
