Emma Giacomello has an academic background in International Affairs. Her work focuses on migration and the protection of fundamental rights. She has gained experience in policy research, legal analysis, and supporting advocacy and outreach activities through roles in both government and civil-society organisations. In her Master’s thesis, she examined the impact of the growing use of AI systems on fundamental rights and the related regulatory framework in the European and Italian contexts.
