Jonas Sagberg is a 22-year-old Norwegian-Taiwanese student at Leiden University, pursuing a BA in International Studies with a regional focus on East Asia and Mandarin Chinese. His academic work centers on Indo-Pacific relations, examining China’s global strategy, Taiwan’s security, and US policy in the region. He has contributed to student committees, written on Japan’s foreign policy, and is currently on exchange in Japan while advancing Mandarin and Japanese proficiency.
