Luis is a German student of International Relations and Organisations at Leiden University, currently preparing his bachelor project on democratic erosion and resilience. His academic interests focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, especially sustainable development, aid politics, and democratization. Having lived in Mozambique and South Africa, he maintains a particular policy focus on these countries.
