Marlene is a German master’s student in War and Conflict Studies at the University of Potsdam. Moreover, she works at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung in Berlin on EU. Alongside her academic and policy work. Her main interests focus on the operational structures of NATO forces, the German defense industry, and European defense cooperation; particularly regarding their implications for multilateralism and state sovereignty.
