Michał Hunicz is a PhD Student in International Relations at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland. He holds an MA in International Relations obtained at the same university. A member of the Polish Forum of Young Diplomats, his current research focuses on international relations and security in the Middle East, and the foreign policy of China. Hunicz has accomplished the last academic year of his Master’s studies by participating in the Erasmus+ mobility programme through studying Strategic Studies and Security Policies at the Link Campus University in Rome. His "Military operations of Türkiye in the armed conflict in Syria" BA thesis has received the University’s Best Paper Award. Currently, he is intent on pursuing an academic and diplomatic career.
