Shadan Jagersma is an LL.M. candidate in Law and Politics of International Security at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, driven by a strong interest in conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and international justice. She holds a B.Sc. in Political Science, specializing in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies. Her research interests revolve around conflict resolution and peacekeeping, human rights protection, humanitarian action and migration. Shadan is currently undertaking an internship at the Dutch Permanent Representation to the United Nations in Geneva, where she engages directly with multilateral diplomacy and international policymaking.
