Mariami is a master’s degree candidate in European Affairs at Lund University. She has experience in anti-corruption research from her work at Transparency International Georgia and has published articles on Georgia’s political developments as well as the EU’s institutional and democratic challenges. Her main interests lie in the EU’s Foreign and Security Policy, and she aims to support the alignment and Europeanisation of policy areas in candidate countries.
