Esmeralda is a Master’s student in International Affairs with a focus on European security and defence. She is currently working at the German Federal Ministry of Defence, where she works on EU Common Security and Defence Policy, including hybrid threats, maritime security, monitoring Council Presidencies, and drafting speeches for senior political leadership. Her academic and professional objective is to specialise in European grand strategy and security policy.
