Jolina-Zoe Zarda is a Master’s student in International Affairs at the Hertie School Berlin, specialising in International Security. She holds a multidisciplinary Bachelor's degree in International Relations and International Organisations from the University of Groningen. Her research interest focuses on security and defence, peacekeeping, and the role of non-state actors. She has gained experience through positions such as at the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation in Athens, where she worked on policy analysis/ research, communication, and event coordination. Jolina is also actively involved in the Hertie School Security Club and a member of the German Council on Foreign Relations.
