Jokin de Carlos Sola is pursuing an M.Phil. in European Political History since 1789 at Leiden University (NL). His research focuses on European strategic autonomy, particularly in security and defence. His recent projects include positions at the Centre for Global Affairs and Strategic Studies in Spain, the JASON Institute in The Hague, contributing to the European Correspondent, and working in Brussels for the European railway sector lobby.
